The exterior veneer of the LODE chest is a combination of bird’s-eye maple, sycamore, pommale and black poplar stripes, laid horizontally. The six drawers are constructed in sycamore with black poplar inlay, using traditional dovetail joints and mitred corner details. When closed, the design flows seamlessly across all four sides of the unit.
