Sollands art furniture is developed, prototyped and made in-house at the company’s own Norfolk atelier. Established in 2001, the atelier is home to a long-standing team of hand-picked British craftsmen. This approach allows for close control to be maintained from the initial design through to the finished work and has, over more than two and a half decades, fostered a depth of practical knowledge that continues to inform the development and realisation of each new piece. Each piece is crafted individually, drawing on traditional carpentry and specialist contemporary techniques. No surface is treated as secondary, with materials and finishes considered throughout, including the top, underside, back and interior of every work.
